Privacy Policy for MaxPlanner

Effective date: October 23, 2026 · Last updated: October 23, 2026

MaxPlanner ("MaxPlanner", "we", "us", or "our") is a productivity and personal organization application developed and operated by MaxielaTech Pvt. Ltd.

MaxPlanner helps users manage tasks, reminders, habits, routines, focus sessions, and other aspects of their daily activities.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be shared with service providers, and the choices available to you when you use MaxPlanner.

By using MaxPlanner, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use MaxPlanner, we may collect the following categories of information.

1.1 Account Information

When you create a MaxPlanner account, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Password or authentication credentials
  • Account/user ID

If you choose Google Sign-In, authentication information may be provided to us through Google. We receive information necessary to create and maintain your MaxPlanner account, such as your name, email address, and account identifier, subject to the permissions and settings applicable to your Google account.

We do not need or receive your Google account password through Google Sign-In.

1.2 Tasks, Reminders, Habits and User Content

When you use MaxPlanner, you may provide information such as:

  • Task names and descriptions
  • Task due dates and times
  • Reminder settings
  • Priority information
  • Categories
  • Subtasks
  • Habit names and settings
  • Habit completion records
  • Routine information
  • Focus-session information
  • Event or schedule information
  • User-created notes or other content
  • Reminder details you enter, such as medicine names and dosages, birthdays, bills and workouts
  • Places you save for location reminders (name, address and map coordinates)
  • Attachments, where the feature is available

This information may be stored locally on your device and/or on our servers depending on the feature and synchronization configuration.

1.3 Location Information

MaxPlanner may use your device's location when you choose to use location-based reminders.

For example, you may configure a reminder to trigger when you enter or leave a selected geographical area.

Depending on the feature configuration, MaxPlanner may process precise location information or location-related coordinates necessary to provide the requested reminder functionality.

Location access is used to provide location-based functionality and is not used for advertising.

You can control location permissions through your Android device settings. Disabling location permission may prevent location-based reminders from functioning.

1.4 Device and Technical Information

MaxPlanner and the third-party services used by the application may process certain technical information, which can include:

  • Device type
  • Android version
  • App version
  • Device/app identifiers
  • IP address or network-related information
  • Firebase installation identifiers
  • Push notification registration/token information
  • Time zone and standard server log information (such as request times)

The exact information processed may depend on your device, operating-system settings, application configuration, and the third-party services enabled in MaxPlanner.

1.5 Analytics Information

MaxPlanner does not use Firebase Analytics or any other third-party analytics or advertising service.

The statistics you see inside the app, such as task and habit progress, focus time and streaks, are calculated from the content you create and are processed on our servers as part of your account.

Like most online services, our servers keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and troubleshooting.

1.6 Push Notifications

MaxPlanner uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications and other application messages.

FCM may process identifiers associated with your application installation and information required to deliver notifications to your device.

Firebase documentation states that FCM uses Firebase Installation IDs to determine which devices should receive messages.

You can control notification permissions through your Android device settings.

1.7 Purchases and Subscriptions

MaxPlanner may offer paid features, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases.

Purchases may be processed through Google Play Billing and subscription information may be managed through RevenueCat.

Depending on the transaction and configuration, information associated with purchases may include:

  • Product or subscription information
  • Purchase status
  • Transaction-related identifiers
  • Google Play purchase information
  • MaxPlanner user/account identifier
  • Subscription entitlement information

Payment card and other sensitive payment credentials are generally handled by the applicable payment platform rather than being directly stored by MaxPlanner.

RevenueCat may process end-user technical and transaction information, including Google purchase information, depending on the integration and configuration.

1.8 Locally Stored Information

Some MaxPlanner information may be stored locally on your Android device to provide functionality, improve performance, or allow the application to operate when an internet connection is unavailable.

Local data may include tasks, reminders, habits, settings, preferences, cached information, and other application data.

Deleting the application may remove locally stored application data, although information already synchronized with our servers or third-party services may require separate deletion.

1.9 Microphone and Voice Input

MaxPlanner uses the microphone only for Distraction Capture, which lets you say a thought out loud during a focus session instead of typing it.

The app asks for microphone permission only when you tap the microphone button. Your speech is converted to text by the speech-recognition service built into Android, which is provided by Google. Depending on your device and settings, Google may process the audio on your device or on its servers, under Google's own privacy policy.

MaxPlanner does not record or store your audio. Only the resulting text is kept. That text stays on your device until you review it, and it becomes a task on your account only if you choose Add to Tasks.

You can deny or revoke microphone permission at any time in Android settings. You can still type your thoughts instead.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information described above to:

  • Create and manage your MaxPlanner account
  • Authenticate you
  • Provide tasks, reminders, habits, routines, and focus features
  • Synchronize your information across supported devices
  • Provide location-based reminders
  • Deliver push notifications
  • Process and manage subscriptions and purchases
  • Provide premium features
  • Maintain and operate MaxPlanner
  • Improve application functionality and user experience
  • Show you statistics about your own tasks, habits and focus time
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues
  • Respond to support requests
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our services
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your location information to provide targeted advertising.

3. How We Share Information

We may share or provide access to information with service providers that help us operate MaxPlanner.

These may include:

Google

Google services may be used for:

  • Google Sign-In
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
  • Google Play Billing
  • Android speech recognition (voice capture)

Ola Maps

When you search for a place for a location reminder, the text you type and, if you have allowed location access, your device's last known location are sent through our servers to Ola Maps (Ola Krutrim) so it can return matching places. We do not store these searches. Ola Maps processes them under its own terms and privacy policy.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat may process subscription and purchase-related information to help us manage in-app subscriptions and entitlements.

Email delivery

We use a third-party email service to send verification codes, password-reset emails and data exports to your email address.

Our Service Providers

We may use third-party infrastructure, hosting, database, security, authentication, communication, or other technology providers necessary to operate MaxPlanner.

These providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to use information only as necessary to provide their services to us.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law or legal process
  • Respond to lawful government requests
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of MaxielaTech, MaxPlanner users, or others
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our terms
  • Enforce our agreements

4. Google Services and Third-Party Services

MaxPlanner uses third-party services to provide certain features.

These services may have their own privacy policies and terms.

Relevant services include:

  • Google Sign-In (if you choose to sign in with Google)
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
  • Google Play Billing (purchases and subscriptions)
  • Android speech recognition provided by Google (voice capture)
  • Ola Maps (place search for location reminders)
  • RevenueCat (subscription management)

Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.

5. Location Permissions

MaxPlanner requests access to location information only when location functionality requires it.

If you enable location-based reminders, your device's location is used to detect when you arrive near a place you saved, so a reminder can be triggered.

To do this even when MaxPlanner is closed, the app asks for background location access (on Android, the "Allow all the time" setting). Your phone detects arrival on the device itself. MaxPlanner does not collect or store a history of where you have been. Only the places you choose to save, and the time a reminder was last triggered, are stored.

When you search for a place, the text you type and, if you have allowed location access, your device's last known location are sent through our servers to Ola Maps to return matching places. We do not store these searches.

You can revoke location permission at any time through Android settings. If you revoke permission, location-based reminder functionality may no longer operate correctly.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Information transmitted between the application and our backend may be protected using encryption technologies such as HTTPS/TLS where supported.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed to run MaxPlanner. How long depends on the type of data.

While your account is active

Your account and the content you create, such as tasks, habits, reminders, notes and events, are kept for as long as you have an account, so they are available on all of your devices.

What we keep

The reason you choose when you delete your account, any comment you add, your email address, and whether you had a subscription. We keep this to understand why people leave. It is no longer linked to a live account.

Third-party services

Deleting your MaxPlanner account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions to avoid further charges. Google Play and RevenueCat keep their own purchase and transaction records under their own privacy policies and retention periods, which we do not control.
